This is an example of how to save the petition to your machine and print it using Internet Explorer, Adobe Reader 8 for Windows and a specific printer. You may see different prompts on your machine.

  1. You must have Adobe Reader installed on your machine to open the petition. If you need to install Adobe Reader click here.
  2. Click the “Click Here To Download Petition” link. The petition will pop up in a new browser window.

  3. Click the diskette icon, second from the left in the toolbar. This brings up the save dialog. Save the petition to any location on your machine.

  4. Find the file on your machine and double-click it. This will open the petition in Adobe Reader.

  5. Click the printer icon in the top left corner. This brings up the print dialog. Notice that the page size (on the right) is 8.5” x 11”. This is not valid. Also notice that the “Choose Paper Source by PDF page size” is not checked. Check this box and the page size will automatically change to 8.5” x 14”.

  6. Click the “Choose Paper Source by PDF page size” checkbox. This will reset your page size to 8.5” x 14”. You can now click “OK” and print.
